The aim of the study was to demonstrate the need to use morphometric indices in assessing the characteristics of the effects of various factors (lyophilization, in the native state, low-temperature regimes) on Cl. botulinum bacteria. The objective of the research was to prepare the culture and work out the percentage of glutaraldehyde for culture inactivation to study the ultrastructure of the cell. The conducted studies have shown that 6 % glutaraldehyde (HA 6 % per 0.2 MFB) is required for culture preparation, since the causative agent of botulism is a spore-forming bacterium.
