This article presents the results of the research on the development of tribological materials based on ultra high molecular weight polyethylene and thermally expanded graphite. It is shown that the modification of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE) thermally expanded graphite physical and mechanical characteristics remain at the level of the unfilled polymer, while the rate of wear is reduced to a mass 30 times the rate of abrasive wear of up to 10 times.
