“I, as a reader, am confused...”. Review of the article: Legeev M., priest. Ecclesiology today: two models of the structure of the churches and their historical background. Proceedings of the department of theology of the Saint Petersburg Theological Academy, 2020, No. 2 (6), pp. 17-42

The article is a review of the work of Priest Mikhail Legeev “ Ekkleziologiia segodnia: dve modeli ustroistva Tserkvi i ikh istoricheskie predposylki ” (“ Ecclesiology Today: Two Models of the Structure of the Churches and their Historical Background ”). Regarding the thesis of this work on two models of the structure of the Church, critical remarks are made, mainly on the methodological side in the development of this topic. It is concluded that the scale inherent for the author - Priest Mikhail Legeev - accompanied by schematism in the conceptual assimilation of the material, sometimes leaves no room for careful identification of the specific originality of the discussed realities.
