I- and he-images of current and future traffic law enforcement officers

Introduction. The problem of staff turnover and shortage in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is becoming increasingly acute. This is due not only to the growth of socio-political problems, but also to the problem of forming a positive image of the police (and not only in Russia). The basis of the image comprises socio-perceptual, primarily I- and He-images of particular police officers. According to sociologists, more than 30% of the police image in the citizens’ minds is formed when communicating with the officers of the state traffic inspectorate departments.
