The present study is devoted to the study of the effect of a new feed additive based on the larva of the Black Lion fly on egg productivity and morpho-biochemical parameters of quail blood. The results of the study showed that the use of a feed additive in the diet of laying quails caused an increase in their egg production, egg weight, in comparison with control birds. The blood of quails significantly increased the content of hemoglobin, the number of red blood cells, the content of total protein, total calcium and inorganic phosphorus compared with the blood of control laying hens.
