The phenomenon of multicomponent terms of the petrochemicals sphere based on the Russian and English language examples

The article investigates such phenomenon of terminology as multi-term. The article deals with different perspectives on the problem of multi-component, specifies the role of multicomponent terms in the formation of the terminological petrochemical industry. This research demonstrates the structure and composition of the multi-component terms, identifies the most common forms, on which the multi-terms are formed.
