Linguistic personality in the context of science communication

This paper considers the main factors influencing the development of scientific communication and the role of linguistic personality in this process. The aim of the paper is to analyze the theoretical positions and make a comparative analysis. The article consists of three main parts. The first part of the paper deals with the term of linguistic personality and its relationship with scientific communication. The linguistic personality is an individual linguistic experience of each person, which influences his/her ability to communicate and interact with other people. In the aspect of science communication, linguistic personality plays an important role, as each scientist's individual linguistic experience influences his/her ability to express his/her thoughts and ideas. The second part exposes the concepts of communication and science communication, giving a brief excursus into the history of science communication in different historical periods. Communication serves to exchange information between people, while science communication shifts its focus to the exchange of scientific ideas, theoretical statements, or research results in a specific scientific environment. Historically, science communication has gone through several stages of development, from Antiquity to the present. The third part considers the terms intercultural and inter-linguistic, including science, communication. The study of the theoretical framework underlines the relevance of the study of the peculiarities of the manifestation of linguistic personality within scientific discourse. Further interest is the experimental confirmation of the theoretical positions based on the linguistic material of scientific communication within one of the scientific specialties, as well as the description and systematization of the constant and variant characteristics of modern scientific (oral and written) communication. Science communication is an important aspect of the development of science and society in general. Understanding the role of linguistic identity and cross-lingual science communication in this process can help scientists to exchange ideas and research results more effectively.
