Linguistic represintion of concept “property” (based on Russian and English phraseological units and proverbs)

This article reveals semantic peculiarity of the concept “property” through its objectification by means of the Russian and English languages on the material of phraseological units and proverbs that allows identifying the similarities and differences in the concept’s interpretation in different linguistic pictures of the world. Being a complex and multi-component form, which includes the presence of three components with a diffuse zone (matches’ area) and autonomous zones (differences’ area), linguo-cultural concept “property” depicts the same realization of value, conceptual and figurative components in the Russian and English linguistic pictures of the world, and the difference in the figurative language representation due to the peculiarities of mental nature.
