Linguistic verbalization of the concept "custom / adat" in Russian and Kyrgyz linguoculture

This paper considers the verbalization of the concept "custom / adat" in Russian and Kyrgyz linguistic culture. The analysis of correlative vocabulary, proverbs and sayings, poetry in the Russian and Kyrgyz languages was carried out in order to identify the national and cultural specifics of the concept "custom / adat" in the worldviews of the compared languages. In the Russian and Kyrgyz linguistic picture of the world, the concept of "custom" is reproduced as a symbol of national culture and history, a variable phenomenon, the basis of innovation, and also reflects elements of emotional evaluation. This study presents a detailed method for considering various types of lexical verbalization of the specified concept.
