Language characteristics of parents' chat communication (based on the material of school correspondence)

The article deals with peculiarities of the genre of parental chat communication in school online correspondence. The aim of this research is to identify and study the linguistic features of parental online chat in schools. The author highlights typical structural components, most frequent abbreviations, emojis, and shortcuts encountered in this type of text. The necessity to justify changes in language, particularly in the genre of chat communication, makes this study relevant.
