An associated vaccine against Escherichia coli diarrhea and anaerobic enterotoxemia in calves was developed and preclinical and clinical studies of the vaccine were conducted in laboratory and production conditions. During the study on laboratory animals it was found that the vaccine is sterile, harmless to animals, has no irritating and toxic properties, induces the production of specific antibodies in vaccinated cows to bacteria: Clostridium perfringens to type A from 9,64±0,35 log2 to 13,44±0,22 log2 , to type C - 8,64±0,35 log2 to 13,24±0,27 log2 , to type D -8,44±0,42 log2 to 13,04±0,27 log2 ; to Escherichia coli to strain K 99 from 4,12±0,42 log2 to 8,72±0,27 log2 and to strain A 20 - 5,72±0,27 log2 to 9,12±0,22 log2. A clinical study of the vaccine was performed on the target animals. The efficacy of the vaccine was evaluated by the morbidity of newborn calves obtained from vaccinated and unvaccinated cows. During the clinical study, a total of 2829 calves were obtained from cows vaccinated with the associated vaccine against Escherichia coli diarrhea and anaerobic entrotoxemia, of which 564 calves (19.9%) became ill with diarrhea within 60 days after birth and 161 calves (5.6%) died. The safety of calves obtained from vaccinated cows was 94.3 %. Only 3027 calves were obtained from control unvaccinated cows, of which within 60 days after birth 2788 (92,1 %) fell ill with diarrhea and 670 (22,1 %) were killed. Safety of calves obtained from unvaccinated cows amounted to 77.8 %.
