Middle-distance running is one of the most popular and mass kinds of athletics article is devoted to the peculiarities of the organization of the training process of runners on average distances in a year cycle of preparation. Recent studies show that further improvement of the preparation process should be linked to its effective organization in various meso-cycles year-round training. The analysis of literature, interviews with relevant experts, the analysis of practice we have options for organizing the training process have been identified in the annual training cycle training middle distance runners. We conducted an experiment, which was attended by boys and girls, middle-distance runner. Athletes control and experimental groups were trained in two variants of organization of the training process: block and classic versions. As a result, we conducted an experiment identified the main training means training and organization throughout the annual cycle. When you block the construction of the training process, unidirectional, concentrated in volume and intensity of training effects because more pronounced adaptive response, greater efficiency gains in these indicators among representatives of experimental groups compared with control groups. Our study proves that the block construction of the training process in the annual training cycle provides higher growth rates of power, speed-strength, speed and technical and physical fitness, which is manifested in the implementation of the accumulated potential to improve the effectiveness of competitive activity higher than that of the representatives, using traditional building complex version of the training process.
