The efficiency of beta-carotene in the diets of pregnant sows

It was found that the use of diets of pregnant sows feed additive based on beta-carotene activates the metabolism of protein synthesis - by 125.5%, increase in vitamin E - to 358.1%, vitamin A - at 127.6%, obstetric complications as MMA syndrome in sows and gastrointestinal diseases in neonates pigs decreased by 20%. Piglets from sows treated with beta-carotin differed outstripping the growth and development compared to the control group.
