The efficiency of the "SBT-Lacto" feed additive use in a poultry diet

The paper presents the results of the effectiveness of the use of a new probiotic feed additive «SBT-Lacto» containing a lyophilized mass of useful microflora as well as food citrus fiber and maltodextrin developed by the LLC «Siberian Biotechnologies» in the diet of broiler chickens. As a result of the conducted tests, it was found that the studied microbial feed additive contributed to an increase in the safety of broiler chickens by 8.0 %, live weight by 7.0 %, while reducing the conversion of feed by 1.2 %. The stimulating effect of the probiotic on the normoflora of the poultry gastrointestinal tract was revealed, which was characterized by an increase in the level of lactobacilli and a decrease in the titer of conditional-pathogenic opportunistic microflora.
