Effectiveness of school studying for patients with myocardial infarction in patient stage of rehabilitation

The aim of the research was to study effectiveness of the School for patients with myocardial infarction as psychological rehabilitation at in&patient department. 120 patients with myocardial infarction were randomized into 2 groups. In both groups treatment and observation of patient was conducted in accordance with accepted stan&darts of care for patients with myocardial infarction. The patients of main group studied at School for patients with myocardial infarction (5 lessions for 45 min). Observation time was 12 months. Results of investigation demonstrated that studying at School for patients with myocardial infarction elevates level of knowledge about disease, secondary prevention and rehabilitation, and their practical use ensures correction of cardiovascular risk factors, positive dynamics of psychological condition and parameters of quality of life, positive post&infarction period.
