Due to the physiological features of the lymphatic system, broiler chickens have restrictions on the digestion of the lipid part of the feed in the first weeks of life. As it is known from scientific sources, such limitations, in particular, are a lower level of lipase synthesis compared to an adult bird, as well as insufficient secretion of bile acids and lower efficiency of their reabsorption in the small intestine. Due to these features, feed additives that have a positive effect on lipid metabolism are of great interest to breeders, which subsequently affects the overall productivity of poultry. One of these drugs was a byproduct of soy lecithin production, called lipofos. This drug is proposed for the treatment and prevention of hepatosis of broiler chickens. In the course of this study, it was revealed that after the application of lipofos, there is an increase in the average daily increments of poultry. When analyzing the biochemical composition of poultry blood, it was found that after applying lipofos at a dose of 2.3 g/kg of feed, the amount of bilirubin decreased by 32 %, the activity of aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase decreased by 24.6 and 18.3 %, respectively. It should be noted a significant, almost 3-fold decrease in gamma-glutamyltransferase and a decrease in creatine kinase by 28.6 %. Thus, lipofos is recommended to be used for broiler chickens at a dose of 2.3 g/kg of feed starting from 7 days to the end of cultivation to increase the safety of poultry, productivity and prevention of hepatosis.
