We conducted phytopathological testing of 20 modern fiber flax varieties of domestic breeding on different backgrounds: with an artificial population of Fusarium oxysporum f lini and mono-isolate No. 39 of a fungus, which has a strong virulence. The varieties Lenok, Zaryanka, Diplomat, Rosinka, Alexim (originator - All-Russian Research Institute of Flax), Voshod, Rusich (Pskov Research Institute of Agriculture), Tomskiy 17 (Siberian Research Institute of Agriculture and Turfs) showed a high level of resistance (over 80%) to the pathogen on these infected plots that indicates the presence of an effective R-genes to fusarium wilt. Flax varieties Antey (Pskov Research Institute of Agriculture), Alfa (All-Russian Research Institute of Flax) and Tost 5 (Siberian Research Institute of Agriculture and Turfs) showed a decrease in the expression of genes resistance to the disease on the plot with mono-isolate No. 39, compared to the plot where pathogen population was used. Using the hybridologic analysis, we founded a new dominant gene of resistance to F. oxysporum in the variety Le-nok - Fu 11. We established resistance to disease in the variety Zaryanka is determined by the gene Fu 2, Voshod - Fu 5, Rusich - Fu 9 and Diplomat - Fu 10. The widespread introduction of varieties with various effective genes will prevent the danger of epiphytoty of fusarium wilt on fiber flax.
