Effective strategies for memorizing new vocabulary when learning a foreign language

The article is devoted to the analysis of various strategies for active memorization of German vocabulary. The theoretical foundations of the memorization process are considered, as well as practical techniques aimed at improving the efficiency of mastering lexical material. Special attention is paid to methods based on active interaction with the language, including the use of various types of exercises, the creation of their own flashcards and thematic dictionaries for optimal memorization, the use of digital technologies. The results of a survey of students on the practical use of various techniques of memorization and the use of new vocabulary are presented.
