Ego-identity as a system factor in the formation personal maturity

The concepts of personal maturity and ego-identity are considered in this paper. It is demonstrated that ego-identity may be served as a system-forming factor for personal maturity in adulthood. The personal maturity is considered as a system person's quality, a creation of normative crises of adult development and a criterion of psychological readiness for the next stage of development
