Ecological competence of student youth: reasons for formation and sample analysis

The article is devoted to analysis of the relevance of the environmental competence formation in students of modern colleges and universities, as well as a comparative analysis of sample studies of Russian and foreign experts on this topic. In addition, data are presented on the results of surveys that were conducted among representatives of Ekaterinburg student youth. It is shown that the majority of respondents are concerned about environmental problems. At the same time, there is a slight downward trend concerned the willingness to allocate money to solve environmental problems in the future.
