The ecological role of variety in soybean agrocenoses

Бесплатный доступ

The review details the variety role in increase of an ecological safety of soybean agrocenoses and stabilization of its productivity in changing climatic conditions. It underlines the importance of harmonization of interrelations in the “genotype-environment” sphere and the roles of creation and selection of varieties adapted to the specific macro-, meso- and microconditions of cultivation. The necessity of creation of soybean varieties with the complex and group immunity to harmful widespread phytopathogens and phytophages and with the increased competitiveness to weeds is noted in order to reduce pesticide load on agrocenoses. The use of such varieties is a biological basis of organic agriculture for receiving production without toxic chemical residues and preserving human health.
