Environmental rights of citizens of the Russian Federation

This article discusses the basic environmental rights of citizens, the legislative sources of their fixation, as well as the types of responsibility for environmental offenses. It describes the shortcomings of the legal regulation and the shortcomings of the legislation. Also, the relevance of the presented article is the urgent need to ensure the environmental security of Russia as an important condition for sustainable development, which is possible only on the basis of state policy, which takes into account not only economic but also environmental priorities.
