Zoning is based on the total soil pollution index (Zc), which form an integral measure of the state of the environment and human health. It is shown that the spatial inhomogeneity of the field contamination can be assessed using the Spearman correlation coefficient, and the autocorrelation function of the spatial variation of the smoothed Zc curve
