The article discusses the main aspects of the social construction of the regional landscape. The authors attempt to create eco-tourism matrix of Kursk region to implement activity-oriented scientific reflection presented in the sphere of tourism practices and determine the role of fundamental social constructs in the dissemination of the image of the area.
