Economic security of Russia and its regions in the crisis conditions

The category of “economic security” is associated not only with economic processes. In many ways, economic security is a complex reflection of the state of the following areas: social, financial, environmental, legal, industrial, informational. The economic security strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030 indicates the main challenges and threats, however, due to the rapidly changing conditions occurring both within the country and abroad, the timely development of a risk and threat prevention system becomes relevant. The state of the financial sector of Russia and its regions (in terms of the availability of reserves and relative stability) has a special influence on the search for new solutions in the field of ensuring economic security. The threat of the spread of a new coronavirus infection negatively affects the state, first of all, of the economic security of regions and business entities. The specificity of associated risks weakens the achieved level of stability of the socio-economic system as a whole. The main channel for the spread of threats to economic security is information.
