The economic efficiency of innovative (resource-saving) technology of sunflower hybrids production in seed industry

On the basis of the results’ analysis of scientific researches of VNIIMK’s scientists and production experience on cultivation of a seed material of sunflower hybrids in seed industry, the economic efficiency of application of various agricultural practices in seed industry was calculated. Taking into account the biological features, genetic potential and cultivation specifics, there was suggested the model of innovative (resource-saving) technology the purpose of which is the increase of profitability and quality improvement of the produced domestic seed material. It was determined that the observance of agrotechnological practices in strict accordance with the recommended model will allow increasing of profitability of sunflower hybrids production in seed industry up to 616 % due to resources saving. At the same time, the production costs for realization of recommended agricultural practices will be no more than 33.2 thousand rubles per 1 ha that is by 8.3 thousand rubles less than in case of intensive cultivation of sunflower hybrids. The quality of a seed material will meet the requirements of State Standard P 523252005 and its yield will be about 70 % from seeds bulks.
