In the work, studies of the behavior of materials for dental purposes were carried out. The results of experimental study of the ceramic samples’ behavior in quasi-static mechanical tests with continuous recording of acoustic emission signals were shown. The identical samples were made from zirconia, feldspar and disilicate-lithium ceramics using CAD / CAM technology with the design of 3 D base models imitating the tooth prepared for the crown. Mechanical tests were conducted on a universal servo-hydraulic Instron 8850 system, the registration of the acoustic emission signals was conducted with a help of the AMSY -6 system. Parametric analysis of acoustic emission signals made it possible to obtain new experimental data describing the process of damage accumulation in ceramic crowns. It is possible to confirm the positive effect modifying the composition of titanium dioxide, the material properties for the manufacture of structural elements of dentures.
