Expressionist motifs in the novel Gernot Wolfgruber a "No man's land"

The article contains a study of expressionist motifs in the popular in the 70 - 80-ies in the USSR "working novel" by Austrian writer of the second half of the twentieth century, Wolfgruber's "no Man's land". In addition, the author enters into a controversy with Soviet criticism of certain provisions of the problems of the work at the level of plot and composition. The research work combines elements of motivic and figurative analysis. The image of the main character is considered through the prism of Gestalt psychology, which served as the basis of the aesthetics of expressionism.
