Экстрактивизм в лицах: воспроизводство социальных сил и отношений в ходе освоения природных ресурсов

Природные ресурсы пронизывают общественное существование, обеспечивая наш образ жизни и неизменно присутствуя в нашем мышлении о развитии и благополучии. Последние десятилетия небывалой интенсивности и масштабов добывающих индустрий показывают, что сегодня природные ресурсы оказываются силой, оживляющей социальность. Настоящая статья посвящена социальному воспроизводству экстрактивизма, системы смыслов и практик, организующей извлечение веществ из природной среды для получения прибыли. Помимо влияния на ландшафты и состояние окружающей среды, освоение природных ресурсов одновременно организует социальные структуры, политические механизмы и общественные отношения. На основе актуальных научных работ делается попытка системно охарактеризовать основные социальные силы экстрактивизма с особым акцентом на распространенные формы взаимодействия и специфические нормы. Структуры государственного управления продвигают добычу природных ресурсов как основу общественного развития. Добывающие компании в погоне за быстрой прибылью и при хищническом характере эксплуатации природных ресурсов явно пренебрегают многими негативными последствиями. Коалиции государственных структур и бизнеса, подкрепленные механизмами юридических процессов, практиками экспертизы добывающих проектов и идеологической работой СМИ, узаконивают многие социальные, политические и экологические издержки экстрактивизма. Население в районах добычи ресурсов, как и рабочие отрасли непосредственно ощущают противоречия добывающих индустрий, которые ответственны как за процветание, так и за неблагополучие. В последние десятилетия влиятельными социальными силами стали социальные движения и активисты, которые стремятся оспорить существующий социальный порядок. Перспективным представляется эмпирически насыщенный анализ экстрактивизма как конфигурации взаимоотношений социальных сил, занимающих разные позиции, имеющих конкурирующие интересы и возможности.
