Extralinguistic features of original and translated monograph texts of the popular scientific style

The main aim of the article is to reveal and describe extralinguistic features of the popular scientific style of English and Russian in a comparative aspect in the monograph as a genre. On the basis of stylistic analysis algorithm of the text, extralinguistic features of the monograph are revealed; the similarities and differences in these features are indicated in the English and Russian languages. As a result of the analysis, extralinguistic features of English and Russian, which are most often encountered in the texts of the popular scientific style of these languages when translating monographs.
