Electronic surveillance as a modern method of operational-search documentation of crimes

The article considers the features of electronic surveillance in operational-search activities and proposes its classification depending on the technical means used: 1) conducted in the global Internet; 2) using constantly updated databases; 3) using the city video surveillance system; 4) using a satellite navigation system; 5) using special technical means intended for secretly obtaining information; 6) combined. Each of the presented methods of electronic surveillance is described as well as proposed measures for improving the efficiency of their application.
