Electronic textbook as an effective means of teaching professional English in a nonlinguistic higher school

The article substantiates the need for the use of electronic educational resources in the process of teaching non-linguistic University students a professional foreign language. The purpose of the article is to present all the elements of the electronic textbook on English for law students and to show the effectiveness and feasibility of its use for the development of language competencies. The results obtained in the course of teaching English to law students confirmed the conclusion that the use of electronic educational resources contributes to the quality of training and cognitive interest of students. In addition, e-learning textbooks provide teachers with tools that have unlimited didactic potential to create a comfortable authentic language environment, develop the algorithm of learning activities and build individual learning strategies.
