Electronic educational resources in teaching German as a second foreign language based on English

Knowledge of foreign languages has always been and is a matter of prestige and a way of self-improvement. The monolingual approach is considered a disadvantage for a professional career. Therefore, learning two foreign languages has a serious motivation and is an important task for students. At the same time, it is possible for a teacher to «forma communicative competence in a second foreign language based on the communicative skills of students in their native and first foreign languages». To ensure effective and high- quality study of the second foreign language, it is advisable to take into account the phenomena of transference, which facilitates the process of mastering German as a second language on the basis of English. This will increase the motivation of students and solve the problem of «optimization by intensifying the process of learning a second foreign language».At the same time, the combination of the use of digital tools and electronic educational resources given in the article with the use of exercises based on knowledge of the first foreign language is relevant and in demand. At the end of the educational experiment, the results of the close test were compared and the level of formation of foreign language communicative competence of students was determined by the main types of speech activity. It made it possible to identify the advantages and effectiveness of the use of digital technologies in teaching a second foreign language based on the first foreign language.
