Embryo: subject and object of civil legal relations

The article reviews the problems of defining the concept of an embryo, as well as determining its status as a subject or an object of civil legal relations. The paper presents the various points of view on this matter in science, analyzes the Russian and foreign court practice, examines the foreign legislation that regulates the concept of an embryo. The authors concluded about the reference of an embryo to the special objects of civil legal relations.
