Emotions and intellect in students' learning activities

In this article the problem of determining the value of a number of psychological variables which determine the efficiency of students' educational-professional activity is solved. As determinants of students' activity success two variables are considered: motivation and ability. The article explains the dominant role of motivation built on emotions, versus intellectual abilities.
