The multicenter clinical-psychopathological and sociodemographic study of 229 men aged 18-60 years with associated forms of alcohol addiction with presence (group 1, n=125) and absence (group 2, n=104) of suicidal behavior was carried out. Differences in the progression of alcoholism, severity of affective disorders, motives of alcohol consumption, life orientation, as well as in the level of self-esteem were found. Comparison of clinical and psychological characteristics of these patient groups enhances the efficiency of the prediction of suicidal behavior in patients with associated forms of alcohol dependence.
