Emotional intellect: features of its manifestation while solving uncertain tasks

The article investigates the problem of manifesting the emotional intelligence while solving uncertain tasks. The experimental study of the problem showed that students specializing in creative and non-creative activities have different manifestation of emotional intelligence in solving uncertain tasks. The students of creative professions are more anxious in comparison with the students of non-creative specialties. It was also obvious that students of a creative specialty have more developed intuitive abilities in comparison with students of non-creative specialties. It was proved that tasks of a logical type contribute to an increase in the level of situational anxiety among the students of the creative profession, and tasks of a creative type contribute to an increase in the level of situational anxiety among students of a non-creative specialty. Students of creative and humanitarian specialties have a broader spectrum of manifestations of emotional intelligence than students of the mathematical specialty. Students of mathematical specialty have the lowest results in terms of emotional intelligence.
