Empirical mode decomposition of pulse signals

The article reports of a new method of processing pulse signals that makes it possible to analyze their structure in more detail. The Hilbert-Huang Transform includes an algorithm of empirical mode decomposition designed for decomposing signals into a set of components with a subsequent analysis of its time and frequency distribution by the Hilbert transform. The advantage of the proposed method consists in its high adaptivity because the basic functions of the signal are constructed directly of the signal under analysis.
