Energy evaluation of the process of grinding lump materials. The purpose of this work is - energy evaluation of the process of grinding materials in a new shredder. Some theoretical questions of grinding process of lump materials in particular feeding grain are considered in the article. On the basis of theoretical and patent research, we have developed and manufactured an experimental installation for grinding lump materials. The rational formula of V. P. Goryachkin is accepted as a theoretical basis for the study of the technological process and the identification of energy parameters of grinding, as the most fully reflecting the processes occurring in grinding machines. V. P. Goryachkin proposed this formula, initially to determine the thrust of the plow. However, it turned out that it can be used to determine the strength of resistance to cutting metal and wood cutter and agricultural materials with a knife, water resistance to the movement of the ship, the resistance of air to the flight of the airplane, etc. To confirm the applicability of this formula to the grinding machines, a preliminary analysis of the three-term equation was carried out and after the conversion we obtained the equation of the energy balance of the new shredder of lump materials. This chopper can be used for preliminary preparation of coal for modern power units of a new generation and for grinding of crop products.
