Energy as an object of civil rights: topical issues of concept and content

Based on the position of the legislator and the theoretical and legal views of a number of civil scientists, the author characterizes the conditions for the need to consider the term "energy" from the point of view of the civilistic approach to its definition by the object of civil rights as a functional analogue of a thing and the attribution of energy, taking into account a specific property as matter capable of producing a certain work in the legislative category of "other property".
