In poultry most of all diseases are associated with intestinal infections,in the etiology of which a significant role is played by opportunistic microorganisms. For the treatment of broiler chickens, the use of Pepidol, which has bactericidal, enterosorbent and prebiotic effects, is promising. The aim of the study was to study the effect of Pepidol on the enteromicrobiocenosis of broiler chickens in association with intestinal infection. From of 3-day broiler chickens cross “Ross 308” on the principle of analogs, a control group and 4 experimental groups of 20 heads each were formed. The control group chicks were given Polodoxine in a dose of 1 ml / liter of water for five days. Broilers of Groups 1 and 2 were given 2 and 1 % solutions Pepidol, respectively, in a dose of 4 ml per head for five days. Chickens of groups 3 and 4 received Polodoxin in the first five days of treatment, from the sixth to the tenth day of treatment, respectively, 2- and 1 % solutions Pepidol in the same doses. For bacteriological studies, samples of intestinal contents were sampled after 5 and 10 days of treatment from 5 heads of each group. Is established that Pepidol, when associated with intestinal infection of broiler chickens, has a bactericidal effect on pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms in the intestine and stimulates a beneficial microflora. The number of enterobacteria decreased by 1.7-2.2 lg CFU/g, staphylococci by 0.3-1.0 lg CFU/g, enterococci by 0.6-0.9 lg CFU/g, hemolytic bacteria were absent, lacto- and bifidobacteria increased by 0.3-0.7 and 1.2-1.5 lg CFU/g. The best result was obtained in groups with 1 % solution of the drug Pepidol (1 st and 3 rd).
