Epidemiological indicators of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes in Kashkadarya region

Therapy of type 1 diabetes mellitus (DM1) is still largely an unresolved clinical problem. Despite the introduction of modern insulin preparations, devices for its administration, as well as a constant glucose level into clinical practice, the goals of therapy are often not met. At the same time, the World Diabetes Federation (IDF) notes an increase in the prevalence and incidence of type 1 diabetes in children and adolescents around the world. The purpose of the study: To analyze the epidemiological data of type 1 diabetes (prevalence, incidence) in children and adolescents (patients from birth to 18 years) in the Kashkadarya region for 2017–2021. according to the register. Research methods: The object of the research was the database of the register, which includes 15 regions of the Kashkadarya region. The number of all cases of the disease registered in the current calendar year was estimated at the level of 100 thousand. the population corresponds to the age group.
