In the Krasnodar Territory in 2015-2021, the incidence and mortality in escherichiosis of calves increased from 34 to 84 animals in 2017, decreased to 24 in 2020 and increased to 33 in 2021. Treatments for this disease from 2015 to 2017 were inversely proportional: the maximum in 2015 was 316710 and the minimum in 2017 - 254985, until 2020 their number was about 270 thousand per year. Morbidity and mortality decreased to 24 animals per year. For the treatment of calves with escherichiosis, cefanex 100 (a solution of ceftiofur hydrochloride 100 mg/ml) was used at a dose of 2 mg/kg subcutaneously once a day, in the second group cefanex 100 was combined with the drinking of ketocide (vitamin A with propylene glycol), in the third group - the control group, cefkinom 45 (a suspension of cefkinom sulfate 45 mg / ml) daily, subcutaneously at a dose of 2 mg / kg of weight. It is proposed to combine first-choice antibiotics (third-generation cephalosporins) with pathogenetic therapy (ketocide). In case of resistance, use cephalosporins of the fourth generation - cefkinom sulfate.
