Physical performance is one of the criteria for human health. Evaluation of physical performance has great diagnostic and prognostic significance. The most strict and quantitative parameter useful for standardization of the exercise tests is peak oxygen consumption measured by the ergometry method. Aim: The aim of the study was to evaluate informativeness and safety of the cardiopulmonary exercise test in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy. The study comprised data of 260 patients with ischemic heart disease and severe left ventricular dysfunction. Patients were operated in accordance with the principle of “Triple V” (ventricle, vessel, valve) during the period from 2012 to 2014.
