Aesthetics of the literary text and the specifics of the translator’s commentary

The article deals with the theoretic aspects of translator’s commentary to the translated literary text; it is shown that the structure and the function of the commentary depend on the type of the literary paradigm the text belongs to; the type of the commentary relates to the aesthetics the literary text is based on.
