Aestheticization of education as a condition for the formation of a creative personality: historical paradigm and modern trends

The focus of the author's research - the problem of aestheticization of the educational system in the context of the influence on the formation of existential characteristics of personality. The question of the need to formalize the system of upbringing and education on the basis of an aesthetic paradigm has been raised by thinkers throughout the history of philosophical thought. Aestheticization of education and the need to develop a creative personality was conceptualized during the age of Enlightenment, which was prepared by tendencies toward secularization of spiritual life. As technological processes developed, the issue of the aestheticization of education was replaced by the requirement to produce “aesthetic thought,” and the problem of de-ideologization and loss of social identity led to a new form of spiritual vacuum in contemporary society. The author of the study comes to the conclusion that the natural aestheticization of education is necessary and inevitable in order to form a new “aesthetic personality,” the existence of which will proceed from the desire for self-improvement based on the harmonization of all manifestations of interaction with the outside world and oneself.
