The standard, prototype and stereotype, as mechanisms of perception of the person the person

In article the analysis of parities of the concepts used at studying of process of a categorisation by the person of objects of world around is presented: the standard, a prototype and a stereotype. It is shown, that at studying of perception of the person by the person use of concept a prototype as in comparison with the standard is more preferable, because it has the specificity allowing more effectively to reflect dynamical and not strict category characteristic for objects of social perception. Essential distinctions between a prototype and a stereotype on parametres of formation, change and functioning mechanisms are designated. Affirms, that exactly prototype formation is means of increase of accuracy of perception of the person the person.
