Development stages and interrelation of the notions “metaphor” and “colour naming” in language worldview

The author of the article considers different points of view and approaches to the definition of the term ‘metaphor’, studies and ranks the stages of the development of the term in the language worldview, emphasizes the interrelation between the notions of ‘metaphor’ and colour naming as well as their importance in the communication of representatives of different cultures.
