Ethical and aesthetic components of youth education in the modern age

The article deals with the typical for modern education search for methodological framework of youth education. Based upon the analysis of educational knowledge development, in particular, during the Modern Age, it is postulated, that harmonious personal development requires synthesis of pragmatic and humanistic ideologies, as well as balance between ethical and aesthetic components. The authors' conclusions conform with the logic of the competence approach to standardization of the content of the modern higher education.
