Ethical quest of the modern Russian society in the context of modernization

The article carries out the philosophical analysis of the peculiarities of dissonant manifestations of morality in the political sphere in the context of modernization changes. The effectiveness of activities of government bodies requires consideration of value preferences and value systems of the society. Ignoring of moral standards threatens the adequacy of the political line aimed at reducing of conflict in the society and ensuring of its qualitative change. The problems of the relationship between government and society give rise to the disregard for moral imperatives. The modernization processes affecting the goals and values, nothing but reinforce the importance of morality in the implementation of power solutions and preservation of the society stability.
